Privacy Policy
Effective October 24, 2026
This policy explains how The Golden Hotline Automation handles information when the channel owner connects a Google account and uses the local release workflow.
Who operates this application
The Golden Hotline Automation is an owner-operated tool for administering the official The Golden Hotline YouTube channel. It is not a public consumer service and does not offer public accounts.
Google information the application accesses
With the owner's consent, the application may access basic YouTube channel information and may manage YouTube videos. This is used only to verify the intended channel, upload owner-approved videos and thumbnails, schedule owner-approved releases, and confirm those actions.
How information is stored
- OAuth client credentials and refresh tokens are stored in the owner's macOS Keychain.
- Release metadata, approvals, file references, and receipts are stored locally on the owner's computer.
- This informational website does not accept accounts, forms, payments, or uploads.
Sharing and sale
The application does not sell personal information, build advertising profiles, or share Google user data with data brokers. Information is sent to Google only as needed to perform the owner's requested YouTube actions.
Retention and deletion
The owner may disconnect YouTube in the local Control Center, which removes the locally stored refresh token. The owner may also revoke access from the Google Account connections page. Local project records remain under the owner's control and may be deleted from the owner's computer.
Security
The application uses Google's OAuth flow, PKCE, macOS Keychain storage, channel identity verification, file fingerprints, and explicit human approval gates for external publication.
Contact
Privacy inquiries may be made through the official contact options associated with The Golden Hotline.
